Giuseppe Pelitti in Milan
Small pocket horn or “huchet” bearing the brand on the bell: Pelitti Milano.
Giuseppe Clemente Pelitti (1837-1905) took over the management of this important Lombard house upon the death of his father in 1865. All kinds of wind, woodwind and brass instruments were manufactured there.
The post horn, shaped to fit in the pocket of the coat, was used for hunting on foot.
