Pierre-Armand-Charles Blanchet (1819 – 1900) is the last descendant of this famous dynasty of harpsichord and then pianoforte makers, established in Paris since the 17th century. Roller & Blanchet were notably the first manufacturers of upright pianos in France. (1827)
