The instrument is made up of two wooden gutters covered in leather. Octagonal model pierced with seven playing holes.

Despite the traces of wear and the retention of the leather, the cornet presents details which seem suspicious to us for an object from the 16th and 17th centuries.

We think it is a copy from the 19th or 20th century.
